The Philadelphia 76ers will waive Trevor Booker to create a roster spot for Ersan Ilyasova.

Booker was acquired by the 76ers as part of the Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas trade.

Booker was a poor fit with the 76ers due to his inability to space the floor.

Booker is expected to receive interest from playoff teams.

The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on forward Ersan Ilyasova.

According to Shams Charania, Ilyasova is expected to sign with the 76ers.

In 46 games this season (40 starts), Ilyasova has averaged 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 25.6 minutes (.459 FG%, .359 3FG%, .800 FT%).

Ilyasova re-signed with the Hawks on July 21, 2017 after originally being acquired by Atlanta from Philadelphia.

The Houston Rockets will waive Troy Williams to create a roster spot for Joe Johnson.

The Rockets initially expected to waive Williams and then began to reconsider other options on Tuesday.

Johnson secured a buyout from the Kings after his trade by the Jazz.

Williams is in his second NBA season but has only appeared in four games in 17-18. Williams is averaging 19.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in the G League. 

Williams went undrafted in 2016 out of Indiana.

The Houston Rockets had planned on waiving Troy Williams to create a roster spot for Joe Johnson, but will now keep Williams.

The Rockets are making an alternate roster move to create a spot for Johnson.

Williams is in his second NBA season but has only appeared in four games in 17-18. Williams is averaging 19.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in the G League. 

Williams went undrafted in 2016 out of Indiana.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived guards Mike James and Rashad Vaughn.

James, 6-1, 189, who was originally signed to a two-way contract by the Pelicans on January 14, appeared in four games with New Orleans, totaling four points and six assists in 18 minutes.

Vaughn, 6-6, 202, who was acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for forward Dante Cunningham on February 8, did not appear in any games for New Orleans.

New Orleans’ roster currently stands at 15, including one two-way player (Charles Cooke).

The Houston Rockets signed Bobby Brown on Friday to a deal for the remainder of the season but will have to waive him to create a roster spot for Joe Johnson.

The Rockets honored their agreement with Brown and allowed him to get paid. The Rockets waived Brown in January to create a roster spot for Gerald Green but had planned on signing him at a later date.

The Rockets also plan on signing Brandan Wright.

The Phoenix Suns have waived guard Isaiah Canaan.

“We still consider Isaiah to be a member of the Phoenix Suns family,” said Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough. “In speaking with Isaiah and his agent, we are fully committed to doing everything we can to help him with his rehab and recovery from his injury. This move is being made strictly to create a roster spot with Isaiah being out for the remainder of the season.”

In his fifth NBA season, Canaan initially signed with the Suns on December 13 and averaged 9.1 points and 4.0 assists in 19 games with the team.

The Sacramento Kings will waive Georgios Papagiannis.

Papagiannis was the 13th overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Papagiannis only appeared in 38 games over a season and a half with the Kings.

The Chicago Bulls plan to release Quincy Pondexter to create a roster spot for their trade of Nikola Mirotic.

Pondexter has undergone multiple surgeries on his left knee.

Pondexter was acquired from the Pelicans earlier in the season.
