Malcolm Thomas has been waived by the San Antonio Spurs.

Thomas was originally signed by the Spurs on Dec. 3 and appeared in one game with the team, posting 2 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in 14 minutes vs. Milwaukee on Jan. 19.

Thomas appeared in 10 games with the Spurs D-League affiliate Austin Toros, averaging 15.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.40 blocks.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Tyshawn Taylor.

Taylor was acquired this week in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu.

In a related move, the Clippers have waived Maalik Wayns.

Turkoglu was recently released by the Orlando Magic.

The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on forward Cartier Martin.

Martin was signed by the Hawks on Oct. 15 and appeared in 25 games (two starts), averaging 6.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in 17.5 minutes.  

Atlanta’s roster now stands at 14.

The Philadelphia 76ers will waive Daniel Orton.

Orton's contract would become fully guaranteed if he were to remain on the roster beyond Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Stephen Jackson.

The move was made before Jackson's deal for the remainder of the season becomes guaranteed.

The Clippers are expected to re-sign Maalik Wayns on a 10-day contract.

The Chicago Bulls have waived Andrew Bynum, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.

Bynum was acquired in a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a deal involving Luol Deng.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports that the Los Angeles Clippers are not expected to pursue Bynum due to the issues arising from his time with the Cavaliers.

The Miami Heat will reportedly express interest in Bynum.

The Los Angeles Lakers have waived Shawne Williams.

Williams spent last season in China and appeared in 32 games for the Lakers this season, averaging 20.2 minutes.

The Utah Jazz have waived forward Mike Harris. Following the move, Utah’s roster now stands at 14 players.

Harris (6-6, 242, Rice) appeared in 20 games this season for Utah, averaging 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game. Harris was signed as a free agent on September 26.

The Sacramento Kings have requested waivers on center Hamady Ndiaye.

Ndiaye averaged 0.4 points (3-9 FG, 0-1 FT), 1.3 rebounds and 5.3 minutes per game in 14 contests this season for the Kings.
