The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Pierre Jackson.

Mark Deeks writes that Jackson will receive a guaranteed $400,00 from the 76ers for this season while he rehabs from an Achilles tear that occured during Summer League.

After being released Friday, Christian Watford has agreed on a new training camp contract to re-sign with the Boston Celtics on Monday, league sources told RealGM.

Watford had signed a one-year contract for training camp with the Celtics, and he'll re-sign for the same terms once he clears waivers.

Watford, a sharpshooting forward, went undrafted in 2013 after playing at Indiana.

The Boston Celtics have released Chris Babb and Chris Johnson, the team announced.

Both players signed with the Celtics last season.

The Sacramento Kings waived guard Scotty Hopson on Wednesday.

Hopson was recently acquired from the Houston Rockets along with Alonzo Gee and a pair of second-round draft picks in exchange for guard Jason Terry and a trade exception.

Jeremy Tyler will be released by the Sacramento Kings at some point.

Tyler has a contract guarantee date in the middle of this month.

Tyler was acquired by the Kings in a trade with the New York Knicks.

Wayne Ellington has been waived by the Sacramento Kings.

August 31st was the final day in which teams could apply the waive-and-stretch provision for the 14-15 season.

Ellington was traded to the Kings by the New York Knicks in the beginning of August.
