The Portland Trail Blazers have waived center Brendan Haywood.

Portland acquired Haywood, guard Mike Miller and two future second round draft picks from the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 27 in exchange for cash considerations.

Haywood's contract was non-guaranteed.

The New York Knicks have waived Ricky Ledo.

Ledo, 6-7, 195-pounds, averaged 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 19.4 minutes in 12 games with New York last season.

He signed the first of two consecutive 10-day contracts on Mar. 19 and then signed for the remainder of the season on Apr. 8.

The Sacramento Kings are releasing forward Eric Moreland, league sources told RealGM.

Moreland’s contract guarantee date is on Saturday, and the Kings’ front office eventually deemed his game too similar to rookie Willie Cauley-Stein. As a free agent, Moreland is expected to receive firm interest around the NBA.

At 6-foot-10, Moreland has strong finishing ability and activity. After recovering from shoulder surgery, Moreland had an impressive Summer League in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year. He averaged 6.4 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 20 minutes per game for the Kings’ entry.

Moreland played three regular-season games for the Kings in 2014-15. In seven games with Reno in the D-League, he averaged 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.

Moreland went unselected out of Oregon State in the 2014 NBA draft. Through workouts and the summer league, the 23-year-old earned a three-year contract with the Kings.

The Denver Nuggets have waived Pablo Prigioni.

Prigioni was acquired by the Nuggets in the Ty Lawson trade from the Houston Rockets.

Prigioni joined the Rockets midseason in a trade with the New York Knicks.

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Lester Hudson. 

Hudson originally signed with the Clippers on April 11, 2015 and appeared in five regular season games, averaging 3.6 points, 1.0 assists, and 1.6 rebounds in 11.2 minutes. The Memphis native played in seven Playoff games, averaging 2.0 points in 5.4 minutes.

In 57 career NBA regular season games Hudson owns averages of 4.7 points, 1.2 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 10.4 minutes with Boston, Memphis, Cleveland and the Clippers.

The Boston Celtics have waived guard Phil Pressey.

Pressey, a 5’11” guard, was originally signed by the Celtics on July 22, 2013. During the 2014-15 season, he averaged 3.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 12.0 minutes per game. He recorded a season-high 11 points, five rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 18 minutes of action on March 25, 2015 against the Miami Heat. On his career, Pressey is averaging 3.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 13.8 minutes per game.

The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on Austin Daye.

Daye signed consecutive 10-day contracts with Atlanta (March 15 and March 25) last season before signing a multi-year contract on April 4. He saw action in eight games with the Hawks, averaging 3.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 9.5 minutes per game.

The Toronto Raptors have waived Luke Ridnour.

Ridnour was traded from the Orlando Magic to the Memphis Grizzlies to the Charlotte Hornets to the Oklahoma City Thunder and finally to the Raptors.

Ridnour had a non-guaranteed contract for the 15-16 season.
