The Los Angeles Lakers will waive DeMarcus Cousins.

The Lakers are expected to sign Markieff Morris when he clears waivers.

Cousins has been rehabbing a torn ACL suffered last August. 

Markieff Morris has agreed to a buyout with the Detroit Pistons.

Morris is averaging 11.1 points, .39 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22.5 minutes over 44 games this season with the Pistons.

Morris signed a two-year, $7.4 million deal with the Pistons this past offseason. 

The Los Angeles Lakers are the frontrunner to sign Morris while the Toronto Raptors have also expressed interest.

DeMarre Carroll and the San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a contract buyout.

Carroll's negotiations with the Spurs were on guaranteed money of $2.3 million for the rest of this season, $6.65 million in 2020-2021 and $1.35 million in 2021-22.

Carroll will sign with the Houston Rockets upon clearing waivers.

Carroll signed a three-year deal with the Spurs this past offseason.

The Phoenix Suns have waived Tyler Johnson, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Johnson is in the final year of a 4-year deal, and is still owed $7 million of his $19.25 million contract.

Teams are expected to be interested in signing Johnson, according to ESPN.

Dion Waiters and the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a buyout.

Waiters will receive his full pay for the remainder of the current season and $12.6 million in 20-21.

Waiters appeared in three games for the Miami Heat this season before his trade to the Grizzlies at the deadline.

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Isaiah Thomas, league sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Thomas was part of a three-team trade with the Wizards and the Knicks.

The Clippers now have two free roster spots. 

The Milwaukee Bucks are waiving Dragan Bender, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The move clears a roster spot for Marvin Williams, who will sign with the Bucks after agreeing to a buyout with the Hornets.

Bender averaged 3.7 points in 7 games this season. 

The Denver Nuggets have requested waivers on Gerald Green, whom they recently acquired as part of a 12-player, 4-team deal.

Green has sat out the entire season due to a foot injury.

The Nuggets will have one open roster spot after waiving Green.

Marvin Williams Jr. and the Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a buyout.

Williams was on a $15 million expiring contract and will clear waivers to become an unrestricted free agent.

Williams has been with the Hornets since 2014 and will give a contending team frontcourt versatility. 

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports Williams plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks once he clears waivers.

The Detroit Pistons have waived Tim Frazier.

Frazier signed a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Pistons in the offseason.
