Chris Mullin found meaning, and NBA brilliance, when he wasn't just Chris Mullin any more.

It happened when Mitch Richmond, and then Tim Hardaway, joined the Warriors. Lifetime friendships formed, Run TMC was set loose, and the kinetic energy went nuclear.

"Tim had the ball, Mitch had the talent, and it was the perfect balance," Mullin said Thursday on the eve of his enshrinement in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

After Mullin was elected to the Hall, new Warriors owner Joe Lacob logically declared that the franchise would retire Mullin's No. 17 at a future date. Mullin suggests retiring all three jersey numbers at the same time, Run TMC lifted into the rafters at Oracle Arena in one unifying, thunderous moment.
