Curry, LeBron, Westbrook, Leonard, Jordan On All-NBA First Team

Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard and DeAndre Jordan have been named to the 2015-16 All-NBA First Team.

On the All-NBA Second Team are Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Chris Paul and Damian Lillard.

On the All-NBA Third Team are Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge, Andre Drummond, Klay Thompson and Kyle Lowry.

James Harden, Paul Millsap, Anthony Davis, Al Horford and Karl-Anthony Towns were the leading vote-getters not on any of the three teams.

Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan, Avery Bradley and Chris Paul have been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team.

On the Second Team are Paul Millsap, Paul George, Hassan Whiteside, Tony Allen and Jimmy Butler.

Rudy Gobert, Klay Thompson, Jae Crowder, LeBron James and Kyle Lowry were the next leading vote getters.

Leonard was a unanimous first team selection while Green received 123 out of 130 votes.

Joining Towns and Porzingis on the First Team are Devin Booker, Nikola Jokic and Jahlil Okafor.

On the Second Team are Justise Winslow, D'Angelo Russell, Emmanuel Mudiay, Myles Turner and Willie Cauley-Stein.

Karl-Anthony Towns Unanimously Wins 2016 NBA Rookie Of The Year

Karl-Anthony Towns has unanimously won the 2016 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Towns received all 130 first place votes joining Damian Lillard (2012-13 season), Blake Griffin (2010-11), David Robinson (1989-90) and Ralph Sampson (1983-84) as unanimous winners in the last 32 years.

Kristaps Porzingis finished second with 363 points (117 second place votes, 12 third place) ahead of Nikola Jokic, Devin Booker and Jahlil Okafor.

Karl-Anthony Towns will be announced as Rookie of the Year on Monday.

Towns was the first overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and had an outstanding rookie season.

Towns averaged 18.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks in 32.0 minutes per game with a PER of 22.5.

Towns won't turn 21 until November.

Andrew Wiggins won Rookie of the Year in 2015 with the Wolves.

Stephen Curry Named Unanimous NBA MVP

Stephen Curry has been unanimously named the 15-16 NBA MVP.

Curry is the first player in NBA history to receive every first place vote (131).

Curry wins the award for the second straight season.

Kawhi Leonard finished second with 634 points, followed by LeBron James (631), Russell Westbrook (486) and Kevin Durant (147).

Chris Paul, Draymond Green, Damian Lillard, James Harden and Kyle Lowry also received votes.

James was the last repeat winner of the award, receiving it in 2012 and 2013. James also won consecutively in 2009 and 2010. Previously back-to-back winners include Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell.

R.C. Buford Wins NBA Executive Of The Year

R.C. Buford has been named the NBA Executive of the Year for the 15-16 season.

Buford previously won the award for the 13-14 season.

Buford totaled 77 points and received nine of 29 first-place votes from a panel of fellow team basketball executives throughout the NBA. The Portland Trail Blazers' Neil Olshey finished second with 63 points (10 first-place votes), and 2014-15 winner Bob Myers of the Golden State Warriors was third with 38 points (five first-place votes).

Stephen Curry To Be Named NBA MVP

Stephen Curry will be named MVP for the second straight season.

Curry has been the widely assumed MVP for months and the award will be announced within the next few days.

Curry could become the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James each fell one vote shy of unanimous selection in 2000 and 2013, respectively.

Curry is the first player in league history at any position to average 30 ‎points per game in less than 35 minutes per game over the course of a full season.

Stephen Curry Wins Magic Johnson Award

Stephen Curry has won the 2015-16 Magic Johnson Award, which honors the player who best combines excellence on the basketball court with cooperation and dignity in dealing with the media and the public, the Professional Basketball Writers Association announced.

Curry led the league in scoring, averaging 30.1 points per game. He also sank 402 three-pointers as he made 45.4 percent of his three-point attempts.

Meanwhile, Curry fostered an atmosphere of mutual respect with the media.

Four additional players were Magic Johnson Award finalists: Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks, Draymond Green of the Warriors, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Paul Millsap of the Atlanta Hawks.
