Julius Randle has been named the 20-21 NBA Most Improved Player.

Randle averaged 24.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game while also shooting 41.1 percent on three-pointers. 

Behind the play of Randle, the New York Knicks finished the regular season fourth in the Eastern Conference. 

Jerami Grant and Michael Porter Jr. rounded out the top-3.

Jordan Clarkson has been named the 20-21 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

 led all NBA reserves in scoring with 18.3 points per game (career-high) off the bench, to go along with 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists, becoming the first player since Manu Ginobili in 2007-08 to average over 18 points, four boards and two assists as a reserve (min. 50 gp).

Joe Ingles, who was also a finalist and finished second, surprised Clarkson with the award on TNT live. 

Derrick Rose finished third, while Jalen Brunson and Tim Hardaway Jr. rounded out the top-5.

Quin Snyder, Tom Thibodeau and Monty Williams have been named the three finalists for Coach of the Year.

Williams and Thibodeau are considered the favorites for the award.

Snyder led the Utah Jazz to the best record in the NBA this season. 

Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles and Derrick Rose have been named the three finalists for Sixth Man of the Year.

Clarkson or Ingles are expected expected to win the award. 

Jerami Grant, Michael Porter Jr. and Julius Randle have been named the three finalists for Most Improved Player.

Grant signed a three-year, $60 million deal with the Detroit Pistons in the offseason that he has by all accounts outperformed.

Randle is widely considered the favorite to win the award.

Rudy Gobert, Draymond Green and Ben Simmons have been named the three finalists for Defensive Player of the Year.

Gobert is widely considered the favorite to win the award. Both Gobert and Green have won the award previously. 

LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton have been named the three finalists for Rookie of the Year.

Ball was the early favorite but missed most of the second half of the season with a wrist injury.

Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic are the three finalists for 2021 NBA MVP.

Jokic is widely considered the favorite to win the award.

Curry previously won the award in 2015 and 2016.

Monty Williams has been named the 2021 recipient of the Michael H. Goldberg NBCA Coach of the Year Award, the National Basketball Coaches Association announced today.

The Michael H. Goldberg NBCA Coach of the Year Award recognizes the dedication, commitment and hard work of NBA Head Coaches and is presented annually to a Head Coach who helps guide his players to a higher level of performance on the court and shows outstanding service and dedication to the community off the court. It honors the spirit of Mr. Goldberg, the esteemed long-time Executive Director of the NBCA, who set the standard for loyalty, integrity, love of the game, passionate representation and tireless promotion of NBA coaching. The award is unique in that it is voted upon by the winners’ peers, the Head Coaches of all 30 NBA teams.

The depth of coaching excellence in the NBA is reflected in this year’s voting as a total of 7 Head Coaches received votes. In addition to Williams, the following also garnered votes: Scott Brooks, Michael Malone, Nate McMillan, Doc Rivers, Quin Snyder and Tom Thibodeau.

Anthony Edwards and R.J. Hampton have been named the NBA's Rookies of the Month for May.

Edwards averaged 27.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists for the month.

Hampton averaged 16.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists.
