Jason Kidd has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for intentionally spilling a drink on the floor to delay the Brooklyn Nets' game on Wednesday night, the NBA announced Thursday.

Kidd spilled a beverage on the floor late in the Nets' loss to the Los Angeles Lakers that allowed a brief huddle and was seen telling Tyshawn Taylor, "Hit me," to execute the drop of the cup.

Kidd was hired as the Nets' head coach in the offseason. Brooklyn is 4-11 this season.

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut and Portland Trail Blazers guard Mo Williams have each been suspended one game without pay for fighting after Bogut initiated an incident by elbowing Trail Blazers center Joel Freeland in the jaw.

In addition, for escalating the incident, LaMarcus Aldridge has been fined $45,000, while Wesley Matthews and Draymond Green have been fined $20,000 each.

The incident occurred with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter of the Trail Blazers' 113-101 win over the Warriors on Saturday at Oracle Arena.

Williams will serve his suspension Monday when the Trail Blazers host the New York Knicks. Bogut will serve his suspension on Tuesday when the Warriors visit the New Orleans Pelicans.

Travis Outlaw has been fined $15,000 for his unnecessary and excessive contact with J.J. Redick in Saturday's game, the NBA announced.

The incident occurred during the Los Angeles Clippers' home win over the Sacramento Kings.

Mike Woodson has been fined $25,000 for the public criticism of the NBA's officiating, the league announced on Friday.

On a radio show Thursday, Woodson criticized the officials for his perceived treatment of Carmelo Anthony.

The New York Knicks are 3-8 this season, bringing speculation about the status of Woodson as head coach.

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for throwing the basketball into the stands during a 123-120 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The incident occurred with 2:54 left in the game and the Rockets up by five points at the time.

Gerald Wallace has been fined $10,000 for using profane language during his postgame media availability session on Tuesday, the NBA announced on Wednesday.

Wallace lashed out after the Boston Celtics' road loss to the Houston Rockets.

Matt Barnes has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for failing to leave court in timely manner and using inappropriate language on Twitter during the Los Angeles Clippers' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

The Clippers defeated the Thunder.

Barnes was involved in an altercation with Serge Ibaka after Ibaka got into a scuffle with Blake Griffin during the conest. Both Barnes and Ibaka were ejected.

James Harden has been fined $5,000 for receiving a second violation for flopping, the NBA announced on Monday.

Harden's second flopping incident occurred in the Houston Rockets' loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Harden also was issued a warning last week.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Caron Butler has been fined $15,000 by the NBA for making an obscene gesture.

The incident occurred in the Bucks' 105-98 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday.

Washington Wizards’ head coach Randy Wittman has been fined $20,000 for using profane language during his post-game press conference.

The Wizards fell to 0-3 on the season on Saturday night, when they lost to the Miami Heat.

The incident occurred after the Wizards' home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last week.
