Anthony Davis has been fined $50,000 by the NBA after his agent Rich Paul publicly demanded a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans.

The league's collective bargaining agreement prevents players or their agents from publicly demanding trades.

Paul told Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday that Davis "wants to be traded to a team that allows him a chance to win consistently and compete for a championship."

The NBA said that Paul's comments were "an intentional effort to undermine the contractual relationship between Davis and the Pelicans."

Taj Gibson was fined $25,000 for directing an obscene gesture towards an official during the Minnesota Timberwolves' 106-102 loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night.

Gibson received two technical fouls after protesting a foul call and had to be restrained by teammates in the third quarter of the loss.

The NBA suspended Nikola Jokic 1 game for leaving the bench area during an altercation between Mason Plumlee and Derrick Favors. 

Jokic will miss Friday's game against the Suns. The Nuggets were surprised by the ruling as they went through their shootaround with Jokic in the lineup.

Plumlee and Favors each received fines of $25,000 and $15,000 respectively. 

Devin Booker has been fined $25,000 for escalating an altercation with Gorgui Dieng by pushing him in the face.

Booker and Dieng were ejected with the incident.

Booker and Dieng appeared to both motion to meet one another in the hallway of the arena.

Luka Doncic has been fined $10,000 for kicking the game ball into the spectator stands.

The incident, for which Doncic was assessed his second technical foul and ejected, occurred with 3:00 remaining in the third quarter of the Mavericks’ 111-99 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 19 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Marcus Smart has been fined $35,000 for aggressively pursuing an opponent in an attempt to escalate a physical altercation and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection.

The incident, which took place after Smart was assessed his second technical foul and was ejected, occurred with 7:35 remaining in the third quarter of the Celtics’ 113-105 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 19 at State Farm Arena.
