Dennis Schroder, P.J. Tucker Fined $25,000 Following Ejections, No Suspensions

Aug 30, 2020 5:33 PM

Dennis Schroder was fined $25,000 for his low blow on P.J. Tucker during Oklahoma City's game five loss to the Houston Rockets.

Tucker was also fined $25,000 for his role in the confrontation, in which he headbutted the back of Schroder's head.

The Rockets reportedly wanted the league to investigate Schroder's actions, and were upset that no action was taken after Chris Paul's low blow on Ben McLemore earlier in the series.

The Rockets lead the series 3-2.

Marvin Williams, James Ennis Fined $15,000 For Altercation

Aug 23, 2020 2:55 PM

Marvin Williams and James Ennis were each fined $15,000 for their role during an altercation in game 3 of the Milwaukee Bucks-Orlando Magic series.

Both players were ejected with 5:39 left in the second quarter, with the Bucks up 19 points.

Ennis and Williams were both hit with double technical fouls, leading to the ejection.

Williams expressed his surprise at both players getting ejected.

"I've played in a lot of basketball games in the NBA, seen a lot of different things, been involved with things obviously throughout the course of my career, but I don't think either of us should've been ejected. I've seen a lot more take place from guys that received a lot less punishment. I don't think he should've been ejected, I certainly don't think I should've been ejected so yeah, I was very surprised, especially with no explanation.

Draymond Green To Be Fined $50,000 For Devin Booker Comments

Aug 9, 2020 12:20 PM

Draymond Green will be fined $50,000 for violating the league's anti-tampering rule for his comments he made on "Inside the NBA" about Devin Booker.

"It's great to see Book playing well and Phoenix playing well. But get my man out of Phoenix. It's not good for him, it's not good for his career. Sorry, Chuck, but they've got to get Book out of Phoenix. I need my man to go somewhere where he can play great basketball all the time and win because he's that type of player," said Green on the show.

"Maybe," responded Green when Ernie Johnson asked him if he was tampering.

Booker responded to Green's comments, saying that Suns fans deserved to see a winner.

"Since I've been in Phoenix, we haven't had the win success that we had, but the support's been there. And this is what we owe to the fans, we owe to the organization."
