Nets Re-Sign Chris Chiozza To Two-Way Contract, Waive Jeremiah Martin

The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed guard Chris Chiozza to a two-way contract. In a related move, Brooklyn has requested waivers on guard Jeremiah Martin.

Chiozza (5’11”, 176) originally signed a two-way contract with Brooklyn on Jan. 4, re-signed with the Nets on Dec. 1 and was waived by Brooklyn on Dec. 19. He appeared in 28 games last season split between Brooklyn and Washington, recording averages of 5.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 14.3 minutes per game. In 18 games with the Nets, Chiozza posted averages of 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 15.5 minutes per contest. 

Martin (6’2”, 186) originally signed a two-way contract with the Nets on Jan. 15. He appeared in nine games with Brooklyn during the 2019-20 season, registering averages of 7.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 11.0 minutes per game. Martin also saw action in 16 games (nine starts) with the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League, recording averages of 16.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals in 31.6 minutes per contest.

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to sign Juan Toscano-Anderson to a Two-Way contract.

Toscano-Anderson joins Nico Mannion on Two-Way contracts with the Warriors. Toscano-Anderson averaged 5.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.9 minutes last season with the Warriors.

Golden State used their final roster spot on Michael Mulder.

The Golden State Warriors were unable to get a Letter of Clearance from FIBA to sign Jeremy Lin before Saturday night's waiver deadline.

Lin needed a Letter of Clearance after playing in China last season.

It was expected that Lin would sign with the Warriors' G-League team.

The Warriors signed-and-waived Elijah Pemberton, who will now join Santa Cruz.

Mason was the G-League MVP last season for the Wisconsin Herd. 

The plan is for Mason to join the Sixers' G-League affiliate, sources told NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Lin won't be on Golden State's NBA roster but will get in their Santa Cruz system. Lin had been training with the Ignite of the G League.

Lin played in the Chinese Basketball Association last season.

The Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans are discussing the possibilities of merging their G-League teams together for a potential bubble scenario.

A G-League bubble could take place in Atlanta, with each team playing 12 games.

The Boston Celtics have already pulled the Marine Red Claws, their G-League affiliate, from the bubble.

The Maine Red Claws are opting out of the expected G-League bubble, sources told Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

The Red Claws are the G-League affiliate of the Celtics.

A G-League bubble in Atlanta, featuring teams playing 12 games before a playoffs, is gaining momentum.

Teams will reportedly have to pay $500,000 to fund the logistics of the bubble.

There are currently no plans for a G-League season outside of the bubble.
