Joffrey Lauvergne has declined his $1.6 million player option for the 18-19 season.

According to Ismail Senol of beIN Sports, Lauvergne will sign with Fenerbahce.

Lauvergne signed a two-year deal with the Spurs in 2017.

David Blatt has agreed to a two-year contract to become head coach of Olympiacos.

Blatt last coached Turkish club Darussafaka Istanbul.

Blatt was head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2014 until early 2016.

A Western Conference official had an interesting perspective in trying to articulate his opinion on the floor and ceiling of Luka Doncic.

“At worst he’ll be as good as Joe Ingles,” said the executive. “And at best, Doncic might be a 6-foot-8 Steve Nash.”

Doncic has been one of the most divisive prospects in the draft with the good teams reportedly loving him and the bad teams hating him.

Larry Brown has agreed to become head coach of Fiat Torino in the Italian Serie A.

Brown most recently coached SMU.

Brown left the NBA in 2010 after coaching Charlotte.

Luka Doncic will remain in the 2018 NBA draft.

Doncic had the option to remove his name from the list of eligible players in this year's draft.

Doncic is currently projected to be picked at No. 4 by ESPN and could go as high as No. 2.

There have also been several teams inquiring about moving into the top-3 to target Doncic.

The Toronto Raptors have interviewed Sarunas Jasikevicius for their head coaching vacancy.

Jasikevicius interviewed with Masai Ujiri.

Jasikevicius currently coaches Zalgris in Lithuania. 

Toronto is searching for a replacement for Dwane Casey.
