Emoni Bates Commits To Michigan State

Emoni Bates has committed to Michicgan State as part of the incoming class of 2022.

Bates was the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2020 as a sophomore.

Bates is widely considered the best high school prospect in more than a decade. Michigan State was the only school to consistently recruit Bates during his high school career.

"Coach [Tom] Izzo and coach [Mike] Garland and that entire MSU staff has been showing love since his seventh grade year. They've been very consistent," Elgin Bates told ESPN. "They really have a genuine care for him and the family. They care for him, not only as a player, but as a person. That's really big for us as a family and for him as a player."

When asked what he likes about Michigan State, Emoni Bates responded: "Everything."

Pavlo Dziuba Commits To Arizona State

Ukrainian power forward Pavlo Dziuba committed to Arizona State, reported Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

"I want to test myself at the top level and I think college basketball and specifically the Pac-12 will give me the best opportunity to show myself," said Dziuba.

The 16-year-old currently plays on Barcelona's junior team.

Dziuba will join Arizona State this summer as part of the class of 2020.

Zakhar Vedischev has committed to Utah State, sources told Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

The 6-foot-5 Russian guard scored 24 points against Team USA in the FIBA U19 World Cup tournament last summer.

Vedischev was a starter for Lokomotiv Kuban in the VTB league this season.

Andrej Jakimovski Commits To Washington State

19-year-old Macedonian Andrej Jakimovski announced his commitment to Washington State.

"Since I was a kid, my dream was to play basketball in the U.S., the country that has the best basketball players and coaches. I believe that Washington State will help me achieve my childhood dream of becoming a great basketball player," said Jakimovski.

Jakimovski, who was considered one of the top European prospects, played in Italy's second division this season.

Jakimovski turned down offers from Italy and Europe to commit to the Cougars.

Trey Patterson Commits To Villanova

Trey Patterson announced his commitment to Villanova, choosing the school over Indiana and Florida.

The 6-foot-8 Patterson is the No. 26th ranked player in ESPN's Top 100 for the class of 2021.

"In the past few [years], they have produced similar players like that have gone on to be successful in the NBA or will be soon, like Saddiq Bey, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart and others. And that's what I can see myself becoming," Patterson told ESPN.
