TyTy Washington Commits To Kentucky

May 14, 2021 1:29 AM

Five-star guard TyTy Washington announced his commitment to Kentucky on Thursday.

Washington, who decommitted from Creighton on March 11, chose Kentucky over ArizonaBaylorKansasLSU and Oregon.

"Coach Cal has passion to develop me. He was confident and straightforward on how I would fit and his plan for me. I could play both the point guard and also slide over to the wing because of my scoring ability. I watched a lot of film of Kentucky and they play a three-guard attack," said Washington.

Washington is ranked No. 12 overall in the ESPN 100.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. Commits To Milwaukee

May 12, 2021 5:54 PM

Patrick Baldwin Jr. has committed to play for his father at Milwaukee. Baldwin turned down offers from the likes of Duke, Georgetown and Virginia.

Baldwin is the No. 4 recruit in the incoming class of 2021 and the No. 8 ranked prospect in the 2022 NBA mock draft.

Baldwin recalled the moment he told his parents he was staying home and playing for Milwaukee.

"I walked in the room and said, 'I have something to share with you. I want to play for you.' He gave me a hug, started crying and left the room," Baldwin said. "My mom and dad left the decision up to me. They gave me insight during the process but left the decision up to me."

International Prospect Adama Bal Commits To Arizona

May 12, 2021 1:17 AM

Top international prospect Adama Bal announced his commitment to Arizona.

The 17-year-old Bal is considered to be one of the top prospects in Europe going the college route.

"It came down to opportunity. I had no clear intention of going to college and really considered going pro, but offers were fairly limited in France. So when the Arizona offer came around late, with the level of facilities, staff and the development plan for me there, it was really difficult to pass up," said Bal.

Currently playing in France's third division, Bal helped France win the U16 European Championship in 2019.

Bal represents the third international commit headed to Arizona next season.

International Prospect Igor Milicic Commits To Virginia

May 1, 2021 5:06 PM

Igor Milicic, a top-ranked European prospect, announced his commitment to Virginia.

"My role will be to play and practice hard and Coach Bennett will find a role for me to help the team be successful. I'm tall for my position with a long wingspan and that should be a great fit for his defensive philosophy.

"Offensively they use many off-ball screens which fits my versatility. I feel good getting jump shots or driving opportunities off flare screens, pin-downs or staggers. The plan is to get better each day and hopefully over time I'll become a key piece of the program. I am going to work all summer to be 100% prepared from day one," said Milicic about Virginia.

The 18-year-old Milicic mostly played in Germany's third division, averaging 13.3 points and 4.9 rebounds on the season.

Milicic has already made his debut for the Polish senior national team.
