Savon Goodman has transferred to Arizona State.

Goodman averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as a freshman at UNLV in 12-13. Goodman attended Indian Hills CC this year but did not play basketball to preserve his eligibility.

Trevor Thompson will transfer from Virginia Tech to Ohio State.

Thompson was also pursued by Indiana, Purdue and Butler.

"I love the academics, the fans, my new teammates and the coaching staff," Thompson said. "It was the perfect fit."

Thompson averaged 5.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a freshman. Thompson will sit out next season, but he could request a waiver from the NCAA due to his father's medical condition.

Kevin Ware has decided to transfer to Georgia State.

Ware announced he was departing Louisville in late March, one year after he suffered a gruesome broken leg against Duke in the 2013 Elite Eight.

Georgia State relied heavily on transfers to reach its 25-9 record this season.
