The Denver Nuggets opened as -360 favorites against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals at Caesars Sportsbook.

The Nuggets are also 8-point favorites at home for Game 1.

The Heat were at one point 200-1 longshots for the NBA title before they beat the Bulls in the play-in game.

Nikola Jokic is also listed at -125 to average a triple double in the series. 

Tyler Herro is reportedly targeting a return in Game 3. 

Tyler Herro is likely to make his return for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, sources told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

Herro broke his right hand in Game 1 of the first round against the Bucks. 

The Miami Heat have advanced to The Finals, beating the Boston Celtics 103-84 in Game 7.

Miami raced out to a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals, but Boston won Game 4, 5 and 6 to force a Game 7.

The Heat took control of Game 7 early with Boston continuing to struggle with their three-point shooting. Jayson Tatum suffered an ankle injury on the first play of the game, which limited his effectiveness. 

Caleb Martin had 26 points on 16 shots while Jimmy Butler had 28 points.

Butler was named MVP of the series over Martin in a 5-4 vote.

The Heat will meet the Denver Nuggets in The Finals. Miami has now reached The Finals twice during Butler's four seasons with the franchise.

Gabe Vincent was listed as questionable for Saturday's Game 6 against the Boston Celtics due to a sprained ankle.

Vincent, who suffered the injury in Game 4, did not play in Game 5. 

Malcolm Brogdon has been playing through a partial tear of the tendon in his right elbow that leads to the forearm, sources told Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Brogdon suffered the injury in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Brogdon had been playing with a sore elbow against the Sixers, though he exacerbated the injury when he boxed out Kevin Love in Game 1.

Brogdon, who intends to continue playing with the injury, will evaluate whether he needs surgery after the season.

Gabe Vincent was listed as questionable for Thursday's Game 5 due to a left ankle sprain.

Vincent suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Heat's Game 4 loss on Tuesday.

The Heat lead the Celtics 3-1.

The Boston Celtics responded to their 3-0 series deficit by beating the Miami Heat 116-99 in Game 4 to extend the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat had all the momentum heading into the game, but Boston found their three-point shooting again.

Jimmy Butler was asked whether he was concerned the Celtics could steal the momentum from the Heat.

"No," replied Butler. "If anything, it will build momentum for us knowing that we have to play with a lot more energy. We've got to play like our backs are against the wall. But I think all year long, we've been better when we've had to do things the hard way."

Butler remains confident in Miami's ability to close out the series to return to The Finals.

"The only thing I'm going to say is, 'We'll be okay.' Let's get back to doing what we've always done to get us to this point. Continually have belief in one another, knowing that we are going to win, and we will. We've just got to play harder.

"There's not too much to say with this group because we already know. So we've just got to go out there and execute."

The Western Conference Finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers averaged 7.9 million viewers across ABC and ESPN.

The number represents the most-watched conference finals since 2018.

It is also an 18% increase from last year's Warriors/Mavs series.

Monday's Game 4 averaged 8.21 million viewers on ESPN, making it the sixth-largest audience of this postseason. 

Jimmy Butler was fined $25,000 for not speaking to the media following the Miami Heat's Game 3 win over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat lost 116-99 in Game 4 and head back to Boston with a 3-1 series lead.

Game 5 takes place on Thursday. 

Tyler Herro suffered a broken right hand in Game 1 of the first round and has now been cleared to resume non-contact basketball work.

When Herro suffered the injury and underwent surgery, the Miami Heat announced he would miss a minimum of six weeks.

The Heat haven't ruled out the possibility of Herro returning if the Heat advance to The Finals, but that is not considered likely by those close to the situation.

Herro closed the regular season as the Heat’s third-leading scorer with 20.1 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting from the field and 37.8 percent shooting on threes.
