The whole Tim Floyd firing/quitting/outta here situation is finally getting under control. The frustrated coach met with his players and also his boss to touch on several topics, including the critical comments previously made by Charles Oakley towards Floyd after the Minnesota loss.
Krause did not attend the initial meeting, but he did admit a later meeting with Floyd was held, terming its subject matter "private."
"He has not asked me to fire him, and I have no intention of firing him," Krause said. "And if Tim came to me and tried to resign, I would try to talk him out of it."
