Now that the Jeff Van Gundy has won the pool as the first NBA coach out of a job this season (and very few saw that coming), the search for the second goes on.

Best bet? Golden State, where the Warriors are 8-13 after a 6-5 start to the season, the players are sniping about minutes and an implosion looks inevitable.

So if you can get into an NBA-coach-to-be-fired pool, take Dave Cowens.

"We're definitely at a crossroads,'' Warrior forward Danny Fortson said last week. "We're definitely at a point where it could be bad if we let it. It's up to the people in the locker room to turn it around.''

Antawn Jamison hardly provided a vote of confidence:

"When you lose, you're definitely not going to have fun. I'm not saying we're going back to old ways, guys on the team care too much about winning. I won't say I'm worried, but there's a sense of urgency right now."

And while you're getting those dollars down on Cowens, place a little side bet on Mike Dunleavy to replace him.
