A two year old back injury could force Indiana Pacers' forward Jermaine O'Neal to miss the 2004 Olympics. The injury has normally flared up at the end of the season, but this year it's starting early, and O'neal has attributed that to playing for the U.S. team the last two summers.
"I hope it's just wear and tear and nothing serious," O'Neal said.
If the injury doesn't heal, he may miss the Olympics next summer. He's scheduled to see a back specialist in Boston on Saturday.
