The Golden State Warriors activated guard Mickael Pietrus on Saturday and placed rookie forward Andris Biedrins on the injured list with a strained left hamstring.

Pietrus, selected by the Warriors 11th overall in the first round of the 2003 draft, missed the first nine games of the regular season while recovering from left shoulder surgery. He averaged 5.3 points and 2.2 rebounds in 22 games last season.

The 18-year-old Biedrins, the 11th overall pick in the 2004 draft, has played in three games.
