The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the Supersonics and coach Nate McMillan have come to an agreement to keep ?Mr. Sonic? as the head coach in Seattle.

No contract terms are available.

McMillan's Sonics have been one of the surprise stories of the year.  Many experts predicted to finish in the bottom half of the Northwest Division, but they dominated the Nuggets, Timberwolves, Blazers and Jazz all season long.

The major decision still needing to be made in Seattle is whether the Sonics will resign free-agent Ray Allen.
