The Mavericks stopped the road winning streak by taking the series' first home win, beating the Rockets by a final score of 103-100.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Jerry Stackhouse chipped in 17 off the bench.
Yao Ming scored 30 points and Tracy McGrady had 25. Once again Mike James gave the Rockets a lift off the bench, scoring 16 points.
McGrady had an opportunity to tie the game at the end of regulation after intentionally missing a free-throw.
