Reggie Miller retired from the NBA but he's still giving back to the team that he was loyal to for 18 years. On Monday, after Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh spoke with Reggie at length about the situation, the Pacers waived the 39 year old guard in order save money against the salary cap.

It was rumored that the Pacers would waive  either Miller or Austin Croshere, but Reggie was fine with the decision.

This means that if Miller decided to return to the court this season it can not be with the Indiana Pacers. However, Miller has gone on record countless times saying his retirement is final.
