Portland forward Darius Miles sat out the Trail Blazers' game against the Utah Jazz on Sunday night because of cartilage damage in his right knee.
Miles, averaging 18.2 points and 5.6 rebounds a game, was placed on the inactive list and rookie Martell Webster started in his place.
The seriousness of Miles' injury was not immediately known. He had an MRI on Sunday.
