Denver forward Kenyon Martin sat out the Nuggets' game Tuesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats because of an injured left knee.
Martin played 9 minutes against Phoenix on Wednesday night before leaving because of a knee contusion. He also missed two games earlier this month with the same injury to the surgically repaired knee.
Martin, averaging 13.8 points and 6.7 rebounds this season, was replaced by Francisco Elson in the starting lineup.
