The Portland Trail Blazers re-signed free agent center Joel Przybilla to a five-year contract on Monday.
The 7-foot-1, 255-pound Przybilla netted 6.1 points, pulled down 7.0 rebounds and swatted 2.3 shots per game last season. He played in 56 games and missed most of April due to a bruised right knee.
Przybilla joined elite company when he collected a career-high nine blocks April 2 at Seattle. The tally matched a Trail Blazers' franchise record for blocks in a game.
