Luke Ridnour attempted to downplay his circumstances Monday as the Sonics opened up their 40th training camp with interviews with media and photo shoots while in game uniforms. He insisted he plans to focus on basketball and use his U.S. Olympic tryout experience to improve his game and cement his position as the team's primary floor leader.

Ridnour will be a restricted free agent last season and is fighting to keep his place as the team's starter at point guard.

"The biggest thing for our team to do is win, and if we do things will take care of themselves," he said. "If we can click like we did toward the end of last season, I think we're going to be a good team."
