Longest serving Raptor Mo Peterson, who had a career-best season last year, made a point of not trying to be a weightlifting champion this summer.
"I feel I'm in the best shape of my life right now," Peterson said.
"Plus, we're going to be winning more this year, so I had to slim down just a little bit and cut some of my body fat. It's looking good.
"(Assistant) coach (Jay) Triano got on me last year when I first got back he said my arms were too big so I couldn't shoot the ball like I wanted. I hope he's happy with it. I didn't get too big this summer."
