Mark Cuban has resisted staging an All-Star Game at American Airlines Center because of the lack of available seats for Mavs season ticket holders.

The Cowboys are building a retractable-roof stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2009 and will have the capability to host major basketball events, such as a Final Four.

Cuban confirmmed that he discussed staging the NBA All-Star Game in that stadium at the Board of Governors meeting.

"With how many the new Cowboys stadium is going to fit," Cuban said, "we can take care of all our season ticket holders."
