Devean George's Mavericks career could be delayed a couple of days.
George was released from the hospital late Tuesday night, but spent Wednesday at home recovering from a serious stomach illness that left him weak and considerably lighter.
George has had the problem twice in the preseason, and the Mavericks will give him plenty of time to get his strength back.
"He's improving a little bit, but we needed to keep him home, keep the fluids in him, and hopefully, he can continue to keep some food down," coach Avery Johnson said.
