Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace has received an automatic one game suspension without pay after receiving his 16th technical of the 2006-07 season,  it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.

A player or coach receives an automatic one-game suspension after receiving his 16th technical foul.  Every other technical foul beyond 16 (18, 20, 22, etc.) will also result in a one-game suspension without pay.

Wallace  received his most recent technical foul with 4:56 remaining in the second period of last night?s  95-82 win over the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. Wallace will serve his suspension tomorrow, Sunday, March 11, when the Pistons travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers at the STAPLES Center.
