The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has picked up the options on the 2008-09 contracts of forward Tyrus Thomas and guard Thabo Sefolosha.  The announcement means that both players will be under contract to the Bulls for the 2008-09 season.

Thomas (6-9, 215) appeared in 72 games (four starts) last year and averaged 5.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 1.06 bpg in 13.4 mpg; he shot .475 from the field and .606 from the line.

Sefolosha (6-7, 215) played in 71 games (four starts) last year and posted averages of 3.6 ppg and 2.2 rpg in 12.2 mpg and shot .426 from the field, .357 from behind the arc and .511 from the line.
