In fewer than 14 minutes of Tuesday's 126-122 exhibition victory against Seattle, Warriors' rookie Brandan Wright showed what all the fuss was about when Golden State acquired him in exchange for Jason Richardson: seven points (3-for-4 floor), six rebounds and a steal.

"He definitely got my attention. I have to do a double-take on him now," said Warriors' coach Don Nelson, who hadn't planned to play Wright on Tuesday and has said in the past that he expects Wright to visit the NBA Development League this season.

Wright didn't look as if he needed any D-League seasoning in knocking down a 19-foot jumper in OT.

"That's something I really worked on in preparation for this season," Wright said of his perimeter jump shot. "You've definitely got to add to your game coming to the NBA. You've got to add something every year."
