The MRI exam on Tracy McGrady's sore left knee Monday showed no damage beyond the swelling in the tendon the Rockets have been treating the past several weeks.

McGrady missed 1? games on the team's trip. On Sunday McGrady said Sunday that he is doubtful he can play Friday night in Memphis and is listed as day-to-day.

"There was no structural damage," Rockets' trainer Keith Jones said of the MRI results. "There was some inflammation in the tendon by the kneecap where the tendon starts. That's really it. Now, we stay aggressive with it. We'll change a few things and get it stronger and see where it goes. He's still day-to-day, and we'll see what happens."
