Carmelo Anthony is surprised that the Nuggets failed to make any moves before Thursday's trade deadline but has confidence in his teammates, according to The Rocky Mountain News.

"It's over with now. It is what it is," Anthony told the News. "We had a chance to get a player, but as an organization, we felt like we ain't really need to make no moves. We don't have no choice but to support that decision and make the best out of it."

"Any time you can get better - or you think you can get better - there's going to be disappointment. This is a team right here I'm proud of. I like the team. I like the direction we're going," he added.
