The Golden State Warriors fell to the New Orleans Hornets on Sunday afternoon, dropping them to a half-game behind the Denver Nuggets for the eighth seed in the West.

Chris Paul notched a triple double (16 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds) for the Hornets as they downed the Warriors 108-96 at the New Orleans Arena.

Monta Ellis had 35 points and 10 rebounds and Andris Biedrins added 17 and 15 for the Warriors, who have five games left on their schedule, including a meeting with Denver on Thursday.
