Dick Bavetta, the referee who worked one of the games Tim Donaghy alleged was rigged, worked Game Five of the 2008 NBA Finals on Sunday night, according to The Associated Press.

Bavetta worked Game Six of the 2002 Western Conference Finals, when the Lakers used a huge free-throw advantage in the fourth period to beat the Kings and eventually win the series.

NBA spokesman Tim Frank said the league never considered pulling Bavetta, in his 33rd season as an NBA referee, in light of this week's accusations. Bavetta has worked more than 20 Finals games in his career.
