The grade II ankle sprain that Thunder forward Kevin Durant suffered on Friday night is the same injury that kept Jazz guard Deron Williams out for a month.

Durant, however, hasn't ruled out a return to the court this week.

"I don't like sitting out any games to be honest," Durant said Saturday night. "It was tough not to play tonight. If we didn't have a back-to-back maybe I might have played... It's feeling better from yesterday to today. I'm hoping I'll be good on Monday."

He was on crutches Friday and Saturday and it's doubtful the team will let him play this week.

"We're going to be real safe," coach Scott Brooks said. "We're not going to let him trick us that he's 100 percent. We have a great medical staff. We'll put him through tests to where he can't say he's 100 percent when he's not."
