Troy Murphy grabbed 13 defensive rebounds in a loss to the Jazz on Tuesday night, making him Indiana's NBA single-season leader for defensive rebounds.

Murphy has 605 defensive rebounds for the season. His tally on Tuesday allowed him to surpass Jermaine O'Neal in the record books.

He almost surpassed Reggie Miller in the books as well, hitting seven three-pointers in the first half. He needed just one to tie Miller's record for threes in a game, but the Jazz canceled him out in the second half.

"They didn't really leave me open at all," Murphy said. "I couldn't get a shot off. They just kept a guy on me the whole time when I was on the perimeter. Pretty much played four-on-four."
