The Pistons are being cautious with Rasheed Wallace's ailing left calf, and he will likely miss the team's next two games.

"He's still not able to run," coach Michael Curry said. "I won't say he's out for that Texas swing, but I doubt he will play."

Detroit will play in Dallas on Tuesday and in Houston on Wednesday. They have decided to be cautious with Wallace after what happened when he hurt his foot back in January.

"We put him back out on the court in Utah after he had been out and struggled for some games after that because of it," Curry said. "This late in the year, with a muscle injury, I won't do the same thing. I want to see him for a couple of days on the (practice) court before we put him back into game action."
