Doug Moe, a former ABA player and the best coach in Nuggets history, says that Carmelo Anthony is the best player in the team's history.
"I'd have to say Melo," Moe said when asked by the Denver Post who was team's all-time greatest player.
"His talent is going to win more games than anybody else. With him, I think the Nuggets are going to have more 50-win seasons than with any other player. And that's not a knock against any of those players."
Moe mentioned Dan Issel, Alex English, David Thompson and Kiki Vandeweghe, who combined to score an amazing 60,000 points for Denver.
"But when it's all said and done, Melo is going to be the best," he added.
