Mavericks forward Shawn Marion did not return for the second half of the team's loss to the Thunder on Saturday night because of a strained left oblique muscle.
"My understanding is that we don't expect it to be serious," coach Rick Carlisle said. "He'll probably be listed as day to day."
Dallas won't play again until Wednesday when Memphis comes to town.
Marion injured the muscle while spinning for a layup in the first quarter. He returned in the second period, but clutched his side after missing a breakaway layup.
