Karl Could Return For Second Round

George Karl's doctor believes that the head coach could return to the Nuggets for the second round of the playoffs.

"I would say there's a two-thirds chance he would be back for the second round," Dr. Jacques Sarri told AOL Fanhouse.

"But that's a rough estimate. There's still a margin of error. ... There is no chance for the first round. He will need the rest."

Karl will miss the first round, even though his cancer treatment has been "very positive."

"It indicated a very favorable prognosis," Sarri said of recent test results. "There is a 15 percent chance his cancer may come back after two years."
