Puerto Rican guard Carlos Arroyo hasn't played since the team's Group C opener against Russia on Saturday.
He will not be back until at least Thursday, the final day of preliminary round play.
Arroyo took a knee to his left quadriceps area, very close to his hip and had some internal bleeding.
