Heat president Pat Riley could easily see the team using either LeBron James or Dwyane Wade at point guard at times this season.
Currently, Miami's top option at point guard is Mario Chalmers, who had a rough sophomore season.
"That wouldn't surprise me at all, and it wouldn't be something that would a stretch for anybody," Riley said of James and Wade taking over some of the point responsibilities.
