Carmelo Anthony said he expects to remain in Denver for the start of the season and would consider re-signing with the Nuggets.
"Yeah. That's keeping my options open," Anthony said when asked if re-signing with the Nuggets is still a possibility. "Yeah (it is an option). When that time comes, we'll discuss that."
"I'm pretty sure I will," said Anthony in talking about whether he will still be in Denver when the season opens. "That's a week from now. I'm here now."
"I am just trying to get it in everybody's mind that let's start now," Anthony said before adding jokingly, "I know it's preseason, but let's start now, I don't have no drama in my life, man."
