Andrew Bynum was whistled for two technical fouls in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' win over the Knicks on Sunday night.

On Monday, the NBA rescinded the second of Bynum's two technicals and the $2,000 fine that came along with it.

"Drew is usually a pretty mild-mannered kid, so that was unusual for him," coach Phil Jackson said. "That was a situation I think just exacerbated itself as the call went on. The first one was OK, the second one was not."

The Lakers have been hit with 15 technical fouls as a team in their past 10 games.
