West Virginia leading scorer Casey Mitchell returned to the lineup against Villanova, ending a suspension for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Mitchell came off the bench late in the first half of Saturday’s game.
He was suspended for three games.
Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins didn't say why Mitchell was suspended indefinitely on Jan. 24.
