Mike Brown made no secret of his desire for a strong relationship with Kobe Bryant. Brown hopes for the kind of rapport that Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan have enjoyed in San Antonio.
“It’s not about Pop being the boss and Tim being the employee.,” Brown said. “Those guys do a terrific job of working together.”
Brown added that he will retain authority on basketball decisions.
“I will make the final decision, no matter who says anything basketball, on-court-related,” Brown said.
